KSTSTY-Sirsi KSTSTY Society is a secure mobile application designed for registered members of co-operative societies to view their account information, deposits, loans, shares, balances, and transaction history maintained directly by their respective society.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on your co-operative society's backend integration and services, the application may access and process the following information for account display:

• User Identity Data: Member ID or Account Number, Member Name.
• Contact Details: Registered Mobile Number, Email Address (if registered with the society).
• Financial Account Records: Savings account, fixed deposit details, loan account information, share capital details, and account balances.
• Transaction Records: Passbook and historical transaction logs provided by the society's server.
• Technical Information: Limited technical information such as device model, Android version and Application version required for compatibility, security and troubleshooting.
• Others:The Application does not collect precise location information, contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera images or SMS messages

The application does not collect, track, or request unnecessary personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is accessed and processed exclusively for the following explicit purposes:

• To authenticate authorized society members during secure login.
• To fetch and display your society account balances, deposit status, and transaction history.
• To present loan schedules and share details maintained by your co-operative society.
• To maintain application security and prevention of unauthorized access.
• To deliver user support and resolve technical account queries when requested.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We strictly value your privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal or financial information to any third parties or advertisers.

Information is shared only under the following strictly defined conditions:

• With your Co-operative Society: To validate identity and retrieve account statement details from the society’s secure database.
• Legal & Regulatory Compliance: When strictly required by law, legal order, or regulatory mandates in India.
• Technical Infrastructure Partners: With trusted server hosting providers operating under non-disclosure and strict data protection agreements to host the app's secure services.

4. Data Security & Technical Safeguards

We employ reasonable technical and administrative measures designed to help protect member data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.

• Authenticated Access: Access to the Application is restricted to authorized members through secure login validation.
• Strict Session Control: Session management controls are implemented to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and invalid login attempts.
• Restricted Server Access: Database storage is protected through firewall rules, access restrictions, and server-side security controls.
• Administrative Safeguards: Access to application servers and databases is limited to authorized personnel responsible for operating and maintaining the service.

5. Data Retention

Account statements, balances, and historical transaction records displayed in the app are maintained directly by the respective co-operative society in accordance with statutory requirements and co-operative society regulations.

Note: Uninstalling the mobile app from your device does not remove or alter statutory financial records maintained on the official society servers.

Users who wish to request correction or deletion of their personal information should contact their respective co-operative society.

The Application itself does not permanently store member account information on the user's device except temporary cached information required for normal operation.

7. Device Permissions

The application requests only necessary Android system permissions required strictly for core operation (such as internet access for server connectivity). Permissions are never used for advertising, background tracking, or secondary profiling purposes.

8. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

This Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a service provided by Google, solely for delivering push notifications related to the Application.

Firebase Cloud Messaging may generate a unique device registration token to enable reliable notification delivery.

The Application uses this token only for notification delivery and does not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, advertising identifiers, or targeted advertising.

Firebase Cloud Messaging is provided by Google. Information processed by Firebase Cloud Messaging is subject to Google's applicable privacy terms and policies.

This Application:

• does not display advertisements.
• does not use advertising identifiers.
• does not sell personal information.
• does not share information with advertisers.
• does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

The Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications. No third-party analytics, advertising, profiling or marketing SDKs are used.

11. Children's Privacy

This application is intended exclusively for registered members of participating co-operative societies. It is not directed toward or designed for children under 13 years of age.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to maintain compliance with evolving privacy laws and Google Play Developer Policies. The latest version will always remain accessible via the Privacy Policy URL listed in the Google Play Store console.
